After taking the last year after shutting down Ethical Entertainment to explore what I want to do next, I will be on to something new this fall. In addition to teaching my iOS course at BCIT, Comp 3912, I will also be returning back to my entrepreneurial roots and taking a crack at starting something new. In have over 3 years of iPhone development experience now and over a decade of teaching experience that I plan to put to good use in the fall. I may still take on one new project before the new year. I am interested in working with people and organizations who have solid core values that are seeking to have a positive social impact in the role of an advisor/consultant. I am primarily interested in working on Apps and interactive content/games for the iPhone and iPad (raw iPhone SDK and Cocos2D), especially if the revolve around kids, the environment, education, health and social change. I am a software architect who can assist in everything from early design and prototyping stages to the development and delivery of the App to the App store. I have also run several startups and have gained invaluable experience about what to do and more importantly what not to do.
