For the past 20 years, Debby Carreau has been helping businesses deliver superior business results by making better decisions about human capital. As President and Founder of Inspired HR, She uses her experience as a senior leader in Operations and Human Resource Management to advise clients on attracting and retaining top talent, and implementing strategies to get the most out of a business’ most valuable resource: people. Prior to forming Inspired HR, Debby held various senior executive Human Resources and Operations Management roles in the hospitality and health and wellness sectors. Ms. Carreau has designed and delivered conferences and development sessions in Canada and the U.S emphasizing hands on learning and using the collective experiences of participants. She has led numerous sessions facilitating problem solving and strategic planning for a variety of organizations. Ms. Carreau is often asked to speak on women’s issues in business and developing talent in organizations. Ms. Carreau holds a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on leadership and strategy, and a professional designation in Human Resources. Ms. Carreau also holds a Graduate diploma in Business Administration and executive certificates in Finance and Strategic Human Resources from Queen’s School of Business. Ms. Carreau’s undergraduate studies included Business Administration, Economics and Sociology. Ms. Carreau currently serves the executive board of the Young Presidents Organization Women’s International Network as Membership Chair. Ms. Carreau is a former Director of Westside Recreation and sits on various not for profit boards. Debby is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and is writing her first book Getting Value from HR. Ms. Carreau resides in Calgary and is married with two children.
