I have had the pleasure to work with different design firms over my year career and had a positive experience with each. Although many were different in terms of culture, capabilities, and abilitiesthere was something to learn from each experience and the collection of experts assembled always widened my view of retail design. Columbus (and Ohio) is fortunate to have such an incredible talent pool of both design professionals as well as students in the many design programs throughout the state. WD Partners is no exception. I would match up our design talent against any in the industry. We work with the worlds leading CPG, retail and restaurant brandsfrom fashion to fuel, fast casual to financial who rely on WD Partners to deliver comprehensive, in-house Design, Operations, Architectural, Engineering and Program Management Services My primary responsibilities are to the three WD Partners business units which include Creative Services, Architecture Engineering, and Program Management and building financial processes around these Studios to provide a higher level of accuracy to our Program and Project Managers as well as to the executive team regarding project financials. Outside of WD Partners, I provide financial counseling to those that are struggling with debt. This part-time ministry started in with the goal of providing sound, Biblically based strategies to help people understand how to manage their money and pay down debt. Topics covered include budgeting, cash flow, debt reduction plans, emergency funds, as well as providing spiritual support to help people understand what God's purpose is with their (His) finances. I have also co-founded Designers' Pocket - a resource for the design community and I have a blog All Things Retail Development where I post the latest news on what else Retail Development. Other interests include regional planning, regional transportation, retail development, urban development, and current events.
