Jorge serves as Director of Operations for Terremark's Advanced Data Solutions group. His responsibilities include running the operational processes supporting the group's AR and AP functions. Jorge also runs the team's marketing and lead generation programs supporting Terremark's virtual disaster recovery, business continuity, virtualizationstorage and eDiscovery solutions. He interacts extensively with Terremark's vendor teams leveraging their programs to promote joint solutions uniquely leveraging Terremark's aligned set of products and services. Jorge also serves as the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's Nonprofit Committee Chair. He sits on the FIU Business School Alumni Circle of Advisors and makes a point of supporting college grads and adults job hunters. He does so through his involvement with Back on Track Network, a faith-based career support organization, and his own career support blog at CareerJockey.org. Prior to working at Terremark, Jorge headed up sales for IBM Business Partner Cima Solution Group's South Florida group. He served as the Director of Information Services at the Subway Independent Purchasing Cooperative overseeing the internal IT team and strategic vendors delivering solutions supporting the purchasing logistics for the North American Subway Restaurant chain. He has served in technical architect, securitycompliance project manager and technical lead roles while at Bank of America and KPMG ConsultingBearingPoint. He also served as Director of Internet Technologies at Stratasys Group, a South Florida integration and consulting company and worked at both HP(Compaq) and IBM.
