I am very interested in working with companies/managers that are focused next generation automation. They would understand automation is not a silver bullet, but a force multiplier that reduces the dependence on manual testers and encourages building a team of QA Engineers who spend time finding bugs, not validating that all the buttons still work. I want to work for a company that encourages its employees to be outspoken and motivated. It is important that my participation and effort has a measurable effect on the company and the product I am working on. I do not want to work for a company where my absence would not be immediately missed. I have worked under several different departments and with many management styles. I have always been the guy every one "checks with" before changes were finalized to product specs, QA test plans, or tech support policies. I do everything in my power to understand the product from the business goals to the final acceptance tests. I want a company that respects and rewards that level of dedication.
