I am a single mom of two great kids, amp and two dogs, Joey and Spooky. I am blessed with a career in the human services field working with homeless women and children. I am the Director of Volunteers at Perspectives Inc in St. Louis Park MN. My life#s work and passion is facilitating trainings and educating women who have been in violent relationships. I have a masters degree in counseling and psychological services. I facilitate groups on family violence and perpetration and write my own curriculums.I am a single mom and love my life. I live in a charming culdesac where all the neighbors connect and chat on the stoop which we call Stoopin It In The Suburbs. That is where the title of my blog originated.I am a content writer and photographer for online publications. Writing keeps my flowing. I love to spend time with my amazing children and my twin sister Linda. Like I said, I live a charmed life. I am so happy and grateful and would not want my life any different.
