Stationed with the th Military Intelligence Brigade at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia, United States Army Captain Jeffrey Johnson maintains responsibility for myriad vital duties. Jeffrey Johnson writes, reviews, and, if necessary, revises a number of military documents for his unit, including Warning Orders (WARNOs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs). Through effective communication and appropriate documentation, Jeffrey Johnson keeps the members of his unit apprised of current and forthcoming operations and provides the detailed information required to prepare for, execute, and complete each mission successfully. Prior to assuming his current post at Fort Gordon in Georgia, Jeffrey Johnson served as a Plans Officer and Security Manager for the th Army Air and Missile Defense Command at Fort Shafter in Honolulu, Hawaii. Jeffrey Johnson coordinated efforts with his counterparts in the Japanese and South Korean militaries as well as with members of various United States government agencies. For his work at Fort Shafter, the oldest military base on the island of Oahu, Jeffrey Johnson received the Korea Defense Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. A Commissioned Officer with the United States Army, Jeffrey Johnson began active duty as a Second Lieutenant after earning his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware in . Jeffrey Johnson completed his basic training at Fort Benning in Georgia, where he earned an Order of Saint Maurice award and the Army Commendation Medal. After leaving Fort Benning, Jeffrey Johnson participated in the Military Intelligence Captains Career Course at Fort Huachuca in Arizona and completed his Military Transition Team training at Fort Riley in Kansas. As a member of the First Infantry Division in Iraq from to during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Jeffrey Johnson received the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Action Badge.
