I have recently discovered that:
1. I am obsessed with pandora.com.
2. I am also obsessed with the weather and/or wind chill factor.
3. I have an obsessive personality.
4. ....
5. I am not as shy as I used to be.
6. I, like Whitney Houston, believe that children are our future (and that crack is whack), but I don't believe that they have the right to be obnoxious any time, anywhere by virtue of being children.
7. Hating is much more exhausting than loving.
8. Being a goofball doesn't stop at 30.
9. Thirty is not all that bad.
Also, I'm no longer scornful of cheesy poems like the following by Edna St. Vincent Millay:
Time does not bring relief; you all have lied
Who told me time would ease me of my pain!
I miss him in the weeping of the rain;
I want him at the shrinking of the tide;
The old snows melt from every mountain-side,
And last year's leaves are smoke in every lane;
But last year's bitter loving must remain
Heaped on my heart, and my old thoughts abide.
There are a hundred places where I fear
