Julio Martinez-Clark holds a bachelor of science in Electronics Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). His professional experience includes positions at Nortel and Alcatel-Lucent. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese and has been extensive business experience in the US, Europe and Latin America the Caribbean. While at Alcatel-Lucent, he was the technical leader of the implementation of Telefonicas IP network in Colombia and later established executive level relationships with end-customers, distributors, and regional and global partners such as IBM and Oracle. He had the unique opportunity to re-create Alcatel-Lucent Business Partner program in Latin America from a -page agreement, to a world class channel program. He gained experience driving business projects and programs, measuring business performance and trends, and communicating cross-functionally. He has worked as a technology consultant for Johns Hopkins University Hospital assigned to a project in Trinidad Tobago. In Mr. Martinez-Clark co-founded a real estate investment firm in Orlando, FL where he acquired, improved and sold over properties over the course of years this provided him with invaluable investment, legal and financial skills. Mr. Martinez-Clark is now the co-founder, President CEO of Interventional Concepts, Inc. and Latin America Clinical Research Alliance, LLC (LACRA) a Contract Research Organization (CRO) and a Site Management Organization (SMO) that help medical device manufacturers and biopharma companies conduct clinical research trials in Latin America. Interventional Concepts, Inc. works closely with the Colombian government's export promoting agency, Proexport, to position Colombia as a premier destination for clinical research in Latin America. Interventional Concepts, Inc. is involved in implementing a world-class cardiovascular service (affiliated to the University of Miami) in a new -bed clinic in Barranquilla, Colombia.
