John is a New Jersey native and amateur photographer who divides his time between teaching Freshman Composition at a local community college and photography. A graduate of The College of New Jersey and the University of Chicago, he spent more than twenty years in the design and development of computer-based training and training technology. While photography has been a lifelong interest, it has become a serious pursuit in the last decade. Teaching has always been a passion, since teaching college in Massachusetts in the 70s. As a stock photographer, John is a regular contributor to such magazines as New Jersey Monthly, New Jersey Countryside and Destinations. The focus of his commercial work is New Jersey and the Delaware Valley. His photography has been exhibited in galleries and shows in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California, is part of the permanent collection of the Michener Museum, the Newark Public Library and is held in several private collections.
