My work is best known across the US and globally for my extensive experience as writer and engagement artisan. In my groundbreaking work with organizations, communities, and education, I design and facilitate ways to bring out the best in peeople where they learn, work and live. For over decades I have partnered with organizations across sectors including NASA, Chrysler, FedEx, Federal Reserve Bank, Smithers Oasis, US EPA, Red Cross, ATT, Catholic Charities, Moen, University of North Texas, University Hospitals, and American Greetings. I am the master facilitator for the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative in partnership with the Kauffman Foundation. My books include Collaborative Creativity, Accidental Conversations, Project Zen, Appreciative Leadership, Mountain Paths, Conscious Becoming, Instructions from the Cook, The Stories that Connect Us, The Enchantment of Casual Origins, The Joy of Thriving, Ordinary Eyes, The Agile Planning Field Guide and Abundant Possibilities. I was among the earliest Blog and Twitter contributors on the Web and have been a journalist and subject matter expert to professional magazines, journals and conference speaking events. Since , I have been designing and teaching leadership and professional development courses in a variety of campus and online undergraduate, graduate, and post-Doc programs including Kent State University, UC Berkeley, and the University of Charleston. I am a mentor to faculty and curriculum designers. My undergraduate degree in clinical psychology is from John Carroll University and graduate degree in positive psychology is from Goddard College, Vermont.
