I am just a regular guy looking to bring accountability, responsibility, transparency and common sense to the Ramsey County Board.I grew up in a small business family that taught me a quality work ethic that I brought with me as I began my years in property management. I entered the industry in Minnesota with one of the upper Midwest's largest property management companies. I was responsible for troubleshooting poorly performing properties and then proposing and implementing the improvement plan. I moved up and spent five years with one of the nations largest property management companies until they recently sold their properties in Minnesota. I am the youngest of four born to Jerry and Gena Schottmuller. I'm a lifelong resident of Minnesota, primarily living in Ramsey County with only a few young years in neighboring Washington County. My wife Angie an I have been married for eight years. We love kids (none of our own - yet) and have a dog and a cat. For fun, we love hosting youth group events, spending time with family, watching football and NASCAR, and taking scuba diving trips when possible.
