I am fascinated by learning and the increasing role of technology in redefining scholarship and training. Additionally, I enjoy studying organizations as complex systems. The simple act of creating a better process makes people better. I have a proven track record of developing secondary and higher education curriculum. My approach blends the best traditional aspects of humanities education with learning technologies and the application of critical thinking skills to modern professional settings. Used to diverse settings, I have developed college ready researchers and writers in multiple urban school districts. I am an experienced researcher in an eclectic range of settings. These settings include graduate schools, a compliance function in the financial services industry and volunteering in the development office at a non-profit. Human capital is more valuable to the economy than oil or any other commodity. I hope to create more of it.
