Before I met my husband I had NO idea how to cook. To be honest, I couldn't even boil an egg When we became engaged I thought, I better learn to cook, thats what wives do right Then I had another thought, who is going to teach me The only person who really cooks (well) in my family would be my Uncle Lou, other than that its pretty dismal. I wanted to learn to cook, but my options were limited, so I did what any person born after would do I turned to the internet The first site I discovered was httpwww.allrecipes.com I found many great and easy to follow recipes here. The first few meals were only suitable for the trash can I wouldnt even let the dog eat it. After awhile my cooking abilities began to increase and I could even cook without following the recipes word for word Some of my friends and family members may say this is a miracle considering where I started. One day while watching Iron Chef, my husband said to me youre like a rubber chef, meaning Im not great, but Im doing ok )
