I am dedicated to developing innovative and meaningful educational programs synthesizing art and st century learning skills across discipline areas. I feel my role as a museum educator is to support the transformative learning moments in the galleries by sharing in the discovery of what an art object reveals, by creating the conditions for accessibility, by demonstrating broader application of the arts to life experiences, by encouraging discussions which challenge visitors to observe carefully, think critically, communicate confidently, and listen with respect to other points of view, and by finding time for reflection.
