I am currently a PhD student in Adult Learning, specializing in creative writing in the post-secondary classroom, and a professor at Lesley University and Berklee College of Music. I am interested in creative and academic opportunities. I have experience in: - Creative writing and Composition curriculum development - Assessment, as chair or co-chair of committees dealing with curriculum assessment, core curriculum review and institutional NEASC review - Institutional governance as a member of the Student Services and Mission Integration Committee - Spearheading a Writing Across the Curriculum and Common Reading program In addition to my scholarly pursuits, I am at work on a variety of short essays and two book projects: Locavore In the City and Wingwalking: Growing Up on the Other Side of the Runway Specialties Personal essay, memoir writing, travel writing, food writing. Teaching developmental and creative writing; teaching literature and critical thinking, reading and writing. Marketing for the arts, including books, music, and performances.
