My job at SPS Commerce these days is to create products that expose SPS SaaS platform to the thousands of developers that build software for the retail supply chains. Figuring out how show vast capabilities of SPS commerce and help developers take advantage of all, that it has to offer to easily plug-in their systems into SPS platform. In simple terms I get to think of a product, its strategy, get it build, shipped and adopted with fanfare by the market it servers Sounds like a tall order, but this is what I love doing. Making products loved by market, which have business rooted reasons for their existence. I ended up with SPS commerce after it acquired my company, Direct EDI which was an e-commerce solution provider, with several SaaS offerings for integration of supply chain networks. From super simple, and easy to use web based electronic data interchange (EDI) product to a robust SaaS platform for building comprehensive integrated solution, these products empowered its customers to connect their systems, streamline workflow while satisfying often unreasonably complex requirements of the retail supply chain operations. From late s when I landed my first programming job making web based applications, I fell in love with building software that solve real problems and doing it in the way that people rave about. Through out the journey, I worked for few notable companies, and build few startups, some of which succeeded, and others served as great lessons of what not to do. Along this journey I got to work for and with some amazing leaders, build and lead teams all over the world, and get to know many great people who made it all possible. Specialties Learning and teaching, building and leading winning teams, creating product vision and delivering Saas products, strategic positioning planning, developing new business, forming strategic alliances, growing revenue and profit, negotiating closing deals, market acquisition, due diligence and MA.
