From the saint to the seeker, from the youth to the seniors, Virginia Beach based worship leader and solo recording artist Michael M. Smith ascribes to the philosophy of “cooking for the whole house.â€Â Michael Maurice Smith grew up in the Low Country of Charleston, South Carolina as a “PK†(preacher’s kid) and quickly began his life in the world of music and ministry. As an adult, Michael later spent time in Atlanta serving, ministering, crafting his music; and began his life with his beautiful wife, Sharon.  Worship of A Redeemed Man, Michael’s first album, released in 2005 demonstrated his passion for leading people into the presence of the Lord and inspiring them to live a life of worship.  Three years later, Michael delivered an intensive night of worship through a live recording at his home church in Norfolk, Virginia. Through prayer, personal worship, and reflection, it was concluded that all of the intimate experiences from that night needed to be captured and shared. The eccentric, pure, unscripted moments of adoration of this night are captured in Worship Unplugged. Dubbed as the CD that takes us “straight in,†Worship Unplugged was released in October 2009.  The live recording also birthed the third album, Bigger Than I Imagined. With an anticipated release date in late 2010, “Bigger Than I Imagined†has been shared among stages and congregations from New Jersey to South Carolina. The title song transcends us into worship, reminding us that no matter our diversity or geographical position, God is “right there, answering prayer.â€An award winning recording artist and humble servant of God, Michael’s mission stands clear; to “Usher mankind into a worship experience that influences their way of life, daily demonstrate the truth of Christ to the world and influence other Christians and Christian Artists to do the same; and create music that will cause Christians to make their worship a lifestyle.â€,Bringing worship to everyday life!,
