John Baker is a British writer, director and creative consultant who has worked extensively in film, television, theatre and corporate entertainment, advertising and production. John studied at the University of East London and trained at The Media Production Centre and the prestigious London Academy Of Music and Dramatic Art. As a writer john has written several plays, short stories and screenplays, which have been brought to fruition and full scale productions. In John formed JB PHOTO, a sole proprietorship specializing in photographic marketing for performers. In JB PHOTO morphed into JB CREATIVE and shortly after, John formed REBRAND NEW YORK, a branding service consulting with entertainment professionals about promotion and brand marketing. The company slogan was Recreate, Redesign, Reinvent This is exactly what John Baker has done throughout his career, reinventing his work around the changing needs and demands of the entertainment industry, learning valuable lessons by working at every level of the industry, in many different roles. John has served over clients, ranging from Fortune corporations to start-up and second-stage companies representing a broad range of industries. John Has worked with Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World, Gaylord Palms, The American Theater Wing, BBC Television, Buena Vista Television, Orlando Playwrights Round Table, NBC, CBS, Sirius XM Radio and Veia Productions in New York and Washington DC. In his career, John has worn many hats creative director, actor, production manager, graphic designer, director, writer, video editor, and freelance photographer. As a copywriter, director and creative consultant, John has been the central creative mind behind countless plays, films, live shows, product launches, public relations and corporate events.
