I am a Teach for America corps member teaching first grade at a charter school in south Dallas. I am incredibly passionate about education reform and closing the achievement gap for students in low income areas. I studied journalism and political science at the University of Missouri and hope to eventually return to social media marketing and public relations. In college, I gained experience working for a variety of institutions, including an integrated advertising agency, online business publication, and television station.
