Russ Johnson is a South Carolina native, with roots in the upstate. Born in Spartanburg, and a graduate of Winthrop University, Russ has been a disc jockey since the age of 13. Some may recognize Russ from working in top radio and nightclubs across the east coast, including Charlotte, NC, Asheville, NC, Nashville, TN and Greenville, SC. Before joining the Oceanfront Guru team, Russ developed a successful online marketing firm, which since 1997 has specialized in helping businesses get their website listings to the top of the search engine results.
