I have wanted to be a hairstylist since I can remember, I made the official decision when I was 9, I remember being fascinated with the lovely sounds that scissors made, and would secretly snip peoples hair in their sleep, I was always aware of hair as a little girl and walked down the street looking at the passer-by’s hair and think to myself "hmm, why does that woman have black hair at the top of her head and yellow hair at the bottom? Or eww why is her hair so yucky at the ends?" I loved the fashion magazines, but discover something better, the show Solid Gold. There was a beautiful dancer on the show with dark skin and eyes, and she had dark hair all the way to her knees. She twirled and spun and her hair followed her, twisting and turning around her body "I said wow look at her hair mom" My mother informed me that they were just hair extensions and not her real hair; I fell in love with hair extensions that day! And when I found out that hair could change color well, that was better than a mood ring! I have been coloring, cutting and extending the hair some of the greatest Torontonians for 17years!
