I like to do lots of different things. In my career, I've programmed in FORTRAN, Java, PHP, Groovy, JavaScript, and Python. I've been an analyst, programmer, surface-to-air missile expert, waiter, combat survival trainer, gas station attendant, open source software specialist, public speaker, carpenter, and manager (among other less-glamorous endeavors). For fun, I like to read, kayak, drink beer, play games, philosophize, road trip, fish with my daughter, hike, judo, and play minecraft with my son. Born and raised in rural Missouri.
