Hello! My name is Heather Martin. I'm a dedicated and passionate person whose goal is to work in post-production. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and technical communication, with an emphasis on television news and video communication. During my time at CSU, I worked as a video editor at the Poudre School District’s Channel 10. There, I created an assortment of videos including internet tutorials, documentaries, instructional how-to's and panel shows. I learned to work in a three-camera studio, which included setting up lighting and sound. Later, I would edit these shows to include motion graphics, and created and added music to create solid and engaging stories. I also learned common troubleshooting tactics and how to contribute to a team effort. After graduating, I worked at the University of Colorado Foundation as a videographer, filming scholarship recipient testimonials before editing them into one-to-four minutes thank you messages to our donors. My duties included troubleshooting technical aspects on the job, and offering support to my fellow videographers. Recently, I was an intern at Interweave, where I worked on show previews, promotions, and campaigns for such productions as Quilting Arts and the Hurt Books campaign. I've also been working as a Brand Team Member at Target for the last three years, overlapping with my internships. Simultaneously holding two jobs has taught me valuable time and project management skills. Specialties Video Editing
