Sean Mayer was born in Los Angeles and spent much of his childhood honing his entrepreneurial spirit. Before the age of 15, Sean had built and sold 2 internet auction houses which propelled him into the entrepreneurial mindset. Soon thereafter, he focused on honing the 3 generations of real estate DNA into the entitlement manager for a 1,700-acre master planned community located in Ventura, California. His experiences at Forest City and Shea Properties have allotted him a wealth of knowledge in the development arena. Sean graduated Cum Laude from the University of California San Diego with an Urban Studies and Planning degree. Most recently, Sean completed his Master's of Real Estate Science from University of San Diego. While attaining his Master's he founded Legacy Real Estate Ventures LLC, which was involved in the valuation of 1,500 assets valued at over $1,000,000,000. Sean is an active member in the San Diego community and participates in NAIOP, ULI, ICSC, USD's Real Estate Mentorship Program and leads the UCSD Real Estate Alliance Alumni Board. He was recently the recipient of the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Scholarship, which is only granted to 2 individuals throughout California. Sean is on the council for the San Diego Young Executive Society and looks forward to continually advancing opportunities for younger participants who wish to become actively engaged in the community.
