Chris Arrant was born in 1977, the only son of a factory worker and a cigar vendor. At an early age, Chris discovered the love to write and draw while in the back pews of a Southern Baptist church. It was only until years later did he discover that people did this for a living and his fate was sealed. While some people's career path can be easily traced as a straight line from point "A" to "B", the trajectory of Chris' professional life is not that linear. Chris has held various jobs including from first mate on a seacraft, busboy at a country restauruant, graphic designer, and curator of exhibits at a museum. Currently, Chris works as a freelance writer and graphic designer. He currently resides in Florida with his wife, Melissa, and two cats.
