I am an Appalachian native and now live in Eugene, Oregon. Graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in Geophysics and English. I also have 3/4 of a Masters degree in Education, but became disillusioned with public schools--I dropped out before my semester of student teaching. I am now an advocate of unschooling (a good introduction to it can be found at wikipedia.org/wiki/Unschooling).My dream is to become a comic book writer and a dog owner. I am a sci-fi / fantasy / adolescent fiction buff.
