With five years of experience in business and software development positions, Steve Markovitch has a unique pairing of tactical and technical skills. Innovation, by way of collaboration and the use of cutting edge technologies, is his passion. For the past several years, Steve has primarily focused on working with healthcare information technologies, such as mHealth sensor networks, where he has worked as a project manager for multiple start-up efforts. Steve is extremely personable and friendly and gets along great with people from very diverse backgrounds. As a young professional, group leadership and public speaking are strong areas for him that he often utilizes to achieve both immediate and long-term objectives. While an undergraduate, Steve gained national recognition for outstanding achievements in several student competitions: the Microsoft Imagine Cup (two-time finalist), MIT 100K (semi-finalist), and Wayne State University E2 Challenge (winner).
