Steve is a Business Process Manager at JPMorgan Chase in Wilmington Delaware with extensive and diverse experience in the financial services industry in operations, fund accounting, shareholder servicing and risk compliance. An excellent team builder and leader, Steve has the skillset to partner with all levels of personnel and can adapt to ever shifting needs and demands while managing effectively through change. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County, and USA Triathlon. He is also a triathlon coach for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. Steve attended Cabrini College in Pennsylvania on a soccer scholarship. A multisport enthusiast, he has completed numerous multisport events of all distances including marathons and ironman triathlons. Steve is a contributing writer for Endurance Racing Magazine. His work has been published in many national and regional print and web based publications. In February of , Steve was diagnosed with a chronic form of leukemia. He manages his disease and has found ways to treat it as more of a blessing than a curse. He continues to race, train, and coach, and in May, published the book My New Race to tell the story. Brown has also written and published three other books, including The Inner Triathlete, FIT TIPS, and his most recent effort In Search of Center (Foreword by Ethan Zohn) where he shares more of his reflections on life, on sport, and on his leukemia. In Steve was voted the Leukemia Lymphoma Societys Man of the Year and he has also received outstanding alumni awards from both Cabrini College and Delaware County Community College. Brown is also Race Director for the Brad Schoener Memorial K Music Marathon and the CYEDC Tyke Triathlon as well as a Philanthropic Ambassador for Newton Running.
