Karla Mckenzie lives in Grantsville, Maryland, but has also spent time in Mchenry, Maryland and Accident, Maryland. She is an alumnus of the Garrett College and Northern Garrett High School. Some of her favorite bands are Slipknot, Afi, Disturbed, Hinder, Seether, Fall Out Boy, Papa Roach, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Rasmus, Mindless Self Indulgence, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and My Chemical Romance. Karla a big fan of Csi, Bones, Ncis, House and Lie To Me. Her favorite films are The Lost Boys, Sleepy Hallow and Nightmare Before Christmas.
