Team EFG Epic Folding Group was formed in October 2009 as a way to unify friends and family in their contributions to the Folding@home project. Primarily located in Illinois, Team EFG is comprised of novice and experienced computer users with the sole intent of furthering scientific research using otherwise unused computer resources. We feel this is a noble cause and encourage everyone who reads this to consider contributing even if you don't join our team. Many Team EFG members have been directly affected by disease and cancer, and one member currently has cancer. The Folding@home project allows every person to feel satisfied knowing that they are helping perhaps one day find cures for some of life's most ruthless illnesses.
