Over nine years experience administering large and small heterogeneous networks comprised of Microsoft, Solaris, LINUX, FreeBSD, HP-UX, IRIX, AIX, and MacOS systems running development, administrative, and desktop publishing software. Over seven years experience developing large and small scripts using PERL, PHP and C and Bourne Shell Scripting. Developed PERL based scripts to interface with ACCESS DB files over a SAMBA share to handle the management, update, and tracking of Statements of Work and other crucial documents for government contracts, securely, over and intranet website. Developed PERL/MYSQL based live web auction suite for the auctioning of surplus computer equipment. System allowed for unique bidder IDs, real-time monitoring of auctions by lot, and the importing of lots through a comma delimited file. Developed PHP and PERL scripts to allow users to manage up to five virtual email accounts, via the web, on a RADIUS server. Developed numerous large and small scripts in PERL and C Shell for automating systemÕs administration tasks, parsing logs, managing accounts, and generating system alerts to text messaging pagers and email. Involved in open source web content management project developing plug-ins in PHP to handle specialized tasks.
