Patrick Flaherty is the founder and managing director of Taighde, a platform for financial sector experts to distribute and market their information and services to a global audience. He is also chair of the Trade and Finance Discussion group at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. He specializes in sovereign wealth funds, state-owned enterprises, international finance, and trade. He has authored over forty reports on SWFs and SOEs. He is currently writing a book on the relationship between SOEs and the global market. He attended university at London Metropolitan University and received a degree in International Relations and Development.
