As senior manager in the specialty coffee business unit, I led a team in customer acquisition and retention. Responsibilities included Cafe Express loyalty program, paid search and online advertising, SEO, email, and other initiatives for a M ecomm business. I've performed online marketing, web development and ecommerce since the dawn of the commercial web (yikes). I combine people skills, fluent communication, and solid tech and business know-how. My third book, "Advanced Social Media Marketing," was recently published by Apress. I also wrote "Social Media Playbook for Business" (ABC-CLIO, ) and "Web . and Beyond" (Praeger, ). As VP Marketing at Timberline Interactive, I performed usability consulting, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, AB testing, email, etc. Clients included Wine of the Month Club, Terry Precision Cycling, Lake Champlain Chocolates, VBT Bicycle Vacations, Garrett Wade, Dakin Farms, Dinn Trophy, Liberty Orchards, Danforth Pewter, and American Meadows. For six years I managed the websites of Vermont Teddy Bear Company, PajamaGram and Calyx Flowers. The sites transacted over million a year, and during peak holidays, , orders per hour. Before moving to the web in , I worked in book and magazine publishing.
