CAREER HIGHLIGHTS LEADERSHIP - Successful Department Head, leading member cross-functional teams that managed complex ship operations including control of reactor plant chemistry, SUBSAFE Quality Maintenance, and test-firing submarine launched ballistic missiles. INNOVATION - Championed first-of-its-kind operational test methodology for million VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program, integrating test assets into existing fleet operations and resulting in significant cost avoidance and schedule risk reduction. MENTORSHIP - Developed dozens of enlisted and officer leaders who have risen to positions of greater authority and responsibility within the Navy. Sponsored the commissioning of two enlisted sailors to the officer corps. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE - Facilitated three Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints) initiatives, enhancing expected return on investment by up to and raising overall customer satisfaction around products supporting the US and UK ballistic missile submarine fleet.
