I'm a technologist with years development and operations experience in a broad range of technologies and application domains. I've worked at virtually all layers of the computing stack, including OS kernels, network management systems, machine vision and D graphics algorithms, natural language processing algorithms, high-volume web applications, and cloud deployment and monitoring systems. I've been awarded a Ph.D. in computer science and seven US patents. I've spent nearly all of my career in startups and am a big believer in Lean practices. I've been successful both as an individual contributor and manager of teams of people. I'm motivated by people using the stuff I build, and opportunities to reach those people. My professional goal is to stay curious.
