Adele is an award-winning writer and editor. A former development editor for Scholastic Publishing, she is currently a freelance book editor specializing in business, culture and memoir. Adele also writes for newspapers, magazines, blogs and literary journals, including th Parallel, The Fairfield Review, Hotmetalpress, Marco Polo Quarterly, Midway Journal, Miranda Literary Magazine, The Pittsburgh Quarterly and Southern Literary Review. Her short fiction appeared in an anthology for Fairfield University, where she is studying for a Master's in Fine Arts in creative writing. Her "After the Sunflowers" essay is part of the Clarion Award winning Press Pause Moments Essays About Life Transitions by Women Writers, and her flash fiction "Days of Obligation" was adapted for the stage by playwright and director Joanne Hudson. Adele teaches writing and editing techniques in workshop formats and individually. She is currently at work on a novel and a series of short stories set in Italy.
