Born and raised in Weirton, WV, just minutes west of Pittsburgh, I am a die hard Pittsburgh fan. Steelers, Penguins, and yes, even the Pirates. I am also a graduate of West Virginia University and a proud Mountaineer. I will bleed either Blue and Gold or Black and Gold, depending on what day you cut me. I do not claim to be an expert on sports, and have never been a great athlete by any stretch of the imagination. I do what many fans do, sit on a barstool and yell for my team, sometimes a little too loudly. I live in Alexandria VA, surrounded by DC fans. I will occasionally comment on DC teams in these blogs. It can be such a soap opera here, I just can't resist. What you will get here is a fan's perspective with Brash and Bold opinion. It is all for fun.
