Inspired by his own experience as a patient for years recovering from a traumatic childhood accident, Paul Clark founded SmartPatient to apply mobile technology to improve the patient experience and strengthen patient-provider relationships. Paul serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Hospital Administration. Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Public Administration in Science and Technology Policy from George Mason University, a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Healthcare Policy from the Loyola University Chicago, and a Masters of Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
