For the past ten years I have had the longest relationship of my life with Hannaford Brothers. Having started as a Summer Cashier I worked my way up to the top of the Customer Service Department by working in five stores to learn the skills needed to successfully became a manager. Upon completing my ladder in this department I branched out to the realm of Human Resources. I began working with the instore Associate Relations Managers to groom my skills in interviewing, orientating, payroll, policy interpretations, etc. In these years I have had exposure to stores that do low volumn sales and those who do . million plus weekly. I have been exposed to a variety of personalities and have learned to work alonside each of them, teach them, train them, and get along. I have successfully helped open a new store, train and develope two assistants into managers, and complete a mass hire of associates to carry my store through the Summer season. In the past two years (since I became an Associate Relations Manager) I have learned more about the business and myself than I ever thought imaginable. I learned I am hardworking, that I will never stop learning something new every day, and that I can do anything I put my mind to. Let's see where this path lays. . .
