Sharon Bonewicz lives and teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Women’s Self Defense in Philadelphia and the suburbs of Philadelphia. She has been hosted by many organizations,colleges, high-school and h.s. programs, gyms and Martial Arts Academies in the Tri-State area and Canada to share her knowledge with women and men. Sharon has and continues to also volunteered her time and knowledge to give back to women and the community so she can reach as many women as possible. Sharon’s love, dedication and enthusiasm is evident in her teaching and training. Specialties Women's Self Defense, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kettlebells and Personal Training. Advanced Level Instructor certified by Defend University (Fight Like A Girl, Girls on Guard and Defense against Weapons). Master Kettlebell Certification under the Maxbell System working directly with Steve Maxwell since 2001 and also has her Body-Weight Certification from Steve Maxwell. She is a certified Personal Training specializing in rehabilitation.
