Originally worked in Information Technology, including positions in software development, consulting, and sales/marketing. After that I studied for my Ph.D. and have been teaching marketing since 2001, specializing in technology-related marketing courses. I consult in marketing, especially internet-related marketing issues. I am also the Friday news blogger for the Pearson Higher Education "Inside Marketing" blog, http://www.pearsoninsideguide.com/marketing/dashboard I love teaching, and won a university teaching excellence award in my fourth year at GMU. I especially like it when my students stay in touch after graduation, and enjoy opportunities to bring them back to talk to my current students.
